A few years ago, Shane Henry and Maggie McClure of the husband-and-wife duo, The Imaginaries, were a newly-minted group with a prestigious inaugural performance opportunity on the books, but no band name. The Americana twosome frantically searched for a moniker that connoted boldness, adventure, and big dreams, and the name and logo came to Shane in his sleep. It was something of an escapist’s plea. The reality was Shane and Maggie were living in LA in squalid conditions as struggling artists.
Thankfully, things are much better these days for the Oklahoma-based duo as it releases its masterful sophomore album, Fever, out August 22. It's a blow-your-hair-back song collection, chock-full of gritty blues-rock riffs, mesmerizing vocal harmonies, driving pop-rock tunes, heartfelt singer-songwriter ballads, delicious guitar tones, and dazzling solos. In addition to Shane's six-string talents, the 12-song album boasts guitar solo cameos from Vince Gill, Joe Bonamassa, and Ariel Posen.
"This new album is about being on the other side of struggle. It's about breakthrough--not that we have it all figured out!" Maggie says with a good-natured laugh. Shane adds: "There are a lot of hopeful stories on this album. We want to put smiles on people’s faces."
The Imaginaries blend Shane's guitar-slinging blues-rock roots with Maggie's boldly vulnerable singer-songwriter sensibility. The results are a pop-Americana aesthetic that evokes Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, The Civil Wars, and Bonnie Raitt.
They have amassed 75-plus sync-licensing placements in film, television, and advertisements. The duo wrote and produced the soundtrack for the feature film, A Cowgirl's Song, which featured Maggie and Shane as co-stars. The couple had two songs featured in the Netflix movie, Mending The Line. The Imaginaries also had a track featured, and an on-camera cameo performance, in the biopic, Reagan. Maggie and Shane appear in the upcoming film, The One, which will also feature a handful of their Christmas originals.
"I’m so fired up to play these songs. I feel like a kid again, waiting to get off the bus to play guitar for five hours!" Shane enthuses. Maggie quips: "Just like in the song, 'Fever,' it's ‘Pedal to the floor/Nothing can stop us now!'"

Come see The Imaginaries, Wednesday, July 29, through Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 12 noon, 2 p.m., and 5 p.m.

Premiums are not awarded, but exhibitors receive a small gift from the Campbell County Fair Board and local donors.
Young people may exhibit any pet (dog or cat), goat, bum lamb, or any other farm animal 100 lbs. or less (we've seen bugs and hedgehogs). Animals must be under control at all times.
Animals must be leashed, caged, haltered, or otherwise under control at all times. The Superintendent and Fair Board maintain the right to excuse any and all unruly animals and exhibitors, and sick and unhealthy animals. Dogs and cats must be current on rabies vaccinations.

Though milking a cow or doctoring a steer might not sound like everyone’s idea of entertainment, these everyday chores suddenly become exciting at the annual Campbell County Fair Ranch Rodeo, where teams of local cowboys and cowgirls compete and show off their stuff.
Unlike professional rodeos, there’s no bare back bronc riding or other individual events. Instead, teams of four representing their respective ranches use their everyday skills and tools to compete in events centered around typical ranch work, trailering horses, roping steers, and chasing animals around in big clouds of dust.

There's nothing more American than country music, and as part of Campbell County Celebrates America 250, country music's best is coming to Gillette!

Lonestar captured global attention with their timeless ballad “Amazed,” a crossover sensation that spent nine weeks at No. 1 on the country charts and two weeks at No. 1 on the pop charts. Known for blending heartfelt storytelling with a polished pop-country sound, the band—comprised of Dean Sams, Michael Britt, Keech Rainwater, and Drew Womack—has left an indelible mark on the genre boasting a staggering 22 top ten singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including 10 that reached No. 1.
Their meteoric rise began in 1995 with the top 5 single “Tequila Talking,” followed by No. 1 hits like the rock-tinged “No News,” “Come Cryin’ to Me,” and “Everything’s Changed.”
The release of their quadruple-platinum 1999 album Lonely Grill cemented their legacy, delivering four No. 1 singles and showcasing their knack for emotionally resonant, radio-friendly songs.

Lonestar’s success has earned them widespread acclaim and numerous accolades,
including Academy of Country Music awards for New Vocal Group, Single and Song of the
Year, and Humanitarian of the Year. They were also honored with the Country Music
Association’s Vocal Group of the Year and International Artist Achievement Award.
With more than 10.5 million records sold worldwide, Lonestar stands as one of country
music’s most enduring and influential bands, continuing to inspire fans with their heartfelt
hits and musical legacy.
