Come and enjoy some classic seaside entertainment

• Spike Bones' Punch and Judy show is a new perspective on an old tradition: both Mr. Punch and Ms. Judy take centre-stage as they work (and sometimes shirk) their responsibilities. Classic adversaries like the devious devil, the pompous police officer and the carnivorous crocodile all return to meddle with Punch & Judy, who, as always, delight audiences with their witty responses and slapstick takedowns. Suitable for all ages - from 1 to 100, Spike Bones’ Punch & Judy deconstructs and reconstructs the form to make a show that is fun and inclusive for everyone!
• Cedric & Sally are 2 saucy seagulls are a walkabout duo who alert folk to putting litter in bins and keeping their chips covered…in between squirting people with water!
• Seaside Games- all the fun of the seaside funfair with these 3 games for all ages: ‘The Octoshy’- meet Olly the Octoshy and try to knock down the seaside items in his tentacles – win yourself a piece of treasure as a prize from Davy Jones’ locker! ‘Codswallop!’ Visit the jolly fishmonger’s stall and see if you can manage to splat the fish, as it dashes out of the full-pipe slide before flying into the lobster pot below. It’s everyone’s one favourite form of battering fish outside of a fish & chip shop! ‘Lighthouse Hoopla’ – throw your hula-hoops over the lighthouse to win a prize, or prepare for the walk of shame…

If The Doors got locked in a garage with Fontaines D.C., the Flaming Lips and IDLES, and Syd Barrett stood outside screaming his last scream through the keyhole, you'd start to capture the sound of Machineries of Joy. Formed in Exeter in 2018, this alt-rock/indie/psych four-piece blends spiky guitars, driving rhythms and snarling poetry into something raw, wired and impossible to ignore. Their name, borrowed from Ray Bradbury, hints at their obsession with the fragile and the furious--the small mechanisms that keep people moving, even in a chaotic world. Their irrepressible post-punk urgency and psychedelic sprawl has seen them play prolifically across stage of the South West.

He's a one man machine of honesty, energy, words and noise. Using lyrics to portray his own unique vision of the world we're all wandering, he erupts in a shower of words from the centre of his ADHD riddled heart and mind. Using a trolley full of sounds: ukulele, bass, beats, piano, harmonies, blips and bloops and and wobbly wobbs, all brought together with loop station and sampler, he creates a hot pot of powerful, noisy poetry. It's not quite hip-hop, but it's not quite not.
